2700 miles to study Spanish

Chile is highly distinctive on any map as it is such a long thin ribbon of land measuring over 2800 miles in length yet it is only 125 miles wide. The country is one of the most prosperous on the South American continent giving its bigger cities a distinctive metropolitan European feel.

The first of these is in Santiago which is the country’s vibrant capitol city wedged in a valley between the Andes mountain range and the Pacific Ocean.
