The scholarship program for 2006 of the don Quijote Foundation is now closed. 20 academic institutions have been awarded a scholarship for a spanish course abroad. Here is the list of winning institutions and the best language programme ideas.

Fallas, the greatest fiesta of Valencia

Every year in March the Spanish city of Valencia transforms from a quiet business city into a place with a different smell, sound and colour. On its streets emerge strange monuments of huge sizes and funny appearance, its time for Fallas, one of the most popular "fiestas" of Spain.

The best picture of Spain

On November 24th we told you about the photo contest organised by don Quijote schools to choose the best pictures of Spain. Our students have sent us pictures of the cities they have visited and the first prize went to Milan from the Netherlands.
Milan has followed a course in Salamanca and is currently studying in the school of Granada, here is a short message from him to encourage you all to discover Spain and to thank his father for giving him the chance of studying in Spain. more »
