The story of Yasue in Spain

Yasue Mitsui was a Japanese girl who studied languages in Japan . She was learning Spanish and she came to Salamanca to take a Spanish course for one month, then she decided to stay and live in Spain for as long as she could. At the end she found a job in Spain and stayed for 3 years...want to know more?

 Ellinor Nordstrom is Swedish, her first time in Spain was last Christmas, when she travelled to Malaga to spend some time with her Spanish "family in law". Sabemos que el Spanglish existe porque lo hemos oido alguna vez. Podríamos definirlo como esa mezcla explosiva de inglés y español que identifica a los latinos residentes en los Estados Unidos, pero por otro lado para los profesores y estudiantes de idiomas es a veces el resultado, no demasiado exitoso, de nuestros esfuerzos por aprender una lengua extranjera.

The new Pan-hispanic dictionary of doubts
or Diccionario Panhispánico de Dudas (DPD) has just been presented
today in Madrid . The dictionary has been compiled by the 22 academies
of Spanish speaking countries and seeks to give an answer to the most
frequent doubts of Spanish speakers. This dictionary intends to be easy
understandable for everyone and will be a useful tool for those who
wish to write correctly in Spanish, clarifying the most frequent doubts
of Spanish writing, vocabulary and grammar.
Se ha presentado hoy en Madrid el nuevo Diccionario Panhispánico de Dudas (DPD).
Compilado por las 22 academias de países hispanohablantes pretende dar
respuesta a las dudas más frecuentes de los hispanohablantes, de forma
sencilla y comprensible para todos. Esta obra constituirá una
herramienta útil para quienes desean escribir correctamente en español,

Racing in Salamanca

 I was a bit surprised last Friday. Like every day, I crossed the Plaza Mayor of Salamanca, on my way to my language school. Ok, it is always crowded, but today it was full of classic Ferrari´s, Porsches and other pleasant antique racing cars with roaring motors.  Afgelopen vrijdag was ik een beetje verbaasd. Zoals elke dag liep ik over de Plaza Mayor van Salamanca, op mijn weg naar mijn talenschool. Goed, het is er altijd druk, maar vandaag stond het plein vol met klassieke Ferrari´s, Porsches en andere aangename antieke racewagens, stuk voor stuk met ronkende motoren. more »
