Spain is different! ... Really??

 

This week started in Salamanca the “Fiesta de la cerveza” (beer party) and it will last until October 15th. Many other cities in Spain also celebrate this particular Oktoberfest, like Calpe, Bilbao or Mallorca, but I think the one in Salamanca, student-city, is the most promising...

 

At this fiesta you’ll find lots of Paulaner beer, sausages, and German traditional music provided by a real German orchestra.

 

 

 

Sounds like fun! But I wonder what our German readers think about this kind of celebrations... I also wonder if in Germany (or in other countries) people celebrate “la Feria de Abril” dancing Sevillanas on the streets of Ennepetal (this is the village in Germany where one of my colleagues comes from), for instance!
