Spanish Teachers Needed in China

by Paqui

As demand for learning Spanish grows in China, need for teachers of Spanish becomes more urgent. 25 Universities in China offer already programs of Spanish language. However, the insufficient number of Spanish teachers in the country has pushed the universities to limit the number of students following higher education in Spanish. Candidates for learning Spanish in Chinese universities must go though a selection process to get a place in the Spanish classrooms

In Hong Kong there are nearly 2000 students of Spanish, 300 learn Spanish at University, although demand for studying in Spanish is much higher and cannot be satisfied as there aren't enough teachers for this subject.
