Cheap Flights to Spain

Vueling

Vueling is a Spanish low-cost airline which offers flights to Amsterdam and Brussels from several airports in Spain. From these cities daily flights are offered to Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia. The prices start from 10€ per one-way and increase depending on the popularity of the date. All together the prices will be 50€ for a one-way trip, depending on the time of booking. If you also want to learn some Spanish, you can study at any of the don Quijote schools in Barcelona, Valencia or Madrid. There are weekend Spanish courses in Barcelona and intensive courses from one week to as long as you want in all the schools. They provide accommodation and organize activities and excursions too.

Transavia

This Dutch low-cost airline flies to several destinations troughout Spain. These destinations are offered from the airports of Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Amsterdam has the following destinations:

  • Girona

Virgin Express is a Belgian low-cost airline which operates from the airport of Brussels. They have several flights to Spanish destinations:

  • Valencia (Spanish courses at don Quijote offered here)
  • Palma de Mallorca
  • Murcia

Ryanair

Ryanair operates flights from the Netherlands and Belgium to the Spanish mainland. They fly from the airports of Eindhoven and Charleroi. The only destination from Eindhoven is Girona, this flight is offered from 30€. The destinations from Charleroi are: Girona, Málaga and Valencia from 15,99€ and Valladolid from 14,99€.You can take a Spanish course with don Quijote in Valencia, Malaga or in Salamanca (just 1 hour away from Valladolid)For more information about prices and flights, check Ryanair's website.

AirBerlin

This German airline has a different way of flying to Spain. The destinations from Amsterdam are:

  • Santiago de Compostela
  • Bilbao
  • Barcelona (Spanish courses at don Quijote offered here)
  • Madrid (Spanish courses at don Quijote offered here)
  • Valencia (Spanish courses at don Quijote offered here)
  • Ibiza
  • Palma de Mallorca
  • Mahon
  • Alicante (Spanish courses at don Quijote offered here)
  • Murcia
  • Almería
  • Sevilla (Spanish courses at don Quijote offered here)
  • Jerez de la Frontera
  • Málaga (Spanish courses at don Quijote offered here)

But these destinations are not flown directly, all these flights go via Palma de Mallorca. Therefore the total travel time is much longer. Besides Amsterdam there are a lot of airports in Western Germany which are offering Air Berlin flights to Spanish destinations as well.

Check a new search engine called Trabber (www.trabber.com). It does aggregates all the information from travel agencies and airlines web sites.

You can often find more than 1 airline which flies on a particular route or another nearby airport which gives you a great chance to compare prices.
