  Using adiovisual materials is always a good help when studying or teaching a foreign language. Using recordings from native speakers, DVDs, films or interactive presentations, will help to improve the student's comprehension skills, enrich his/her foreign language vocabulary and will also help to lose the "fear" of speaking a foreign language.
A new method to use in your class can be asking your students to create subtitles. Leonor Quintana (Spanish teacher in Greece) tells in her blog about a new software developed by the Greek Open University to teach Spanish through subtitling.   more »
