Esta es mi profesora de español, se llama Estela y estudió en la universidad de Salamanca. Ha sido estupendo tener a Estela como profesora, a ella le gusta enseñar español porque le permite conocer a gente de todos los lugares del mundo. After the two week course my Spanish has undoubtedly improved! In the final week we had a test on all we had covered. Although finding time to study can be somewhat difficult with the many activities on offer in Salamanca, I managed to get my certificate which now hangs proudly on my bedroom wall!

El español está ganando importancia en Brasil como lengua extranjera. El gobierno brasileño ha aprobado una nueva ley por la cual se ofrecerán clases de español a los alumnos de educación secundaria. Las escuelas brasileñas, tanto públicas como privadas,  tendrán un plazo de cinco años como máximo para ímplementar esta nueva normativa y se estima que será necesario contratar unos 24.000 profesores de español.

La intención del gobierno brasileño es dar a conocer la lengua española a unos nueve millones de estudiantes de educaciones secundaria.  Potenciar la lengua española permitirá un acercamiento del país a sus vecinos latinoamericando favoreciendo las relaciones políticas y económicas.

 

Los niños aprenden a hablar su lengua materna sin ningún problema, pero, ¿por qué esto no ocurre con las segundas lenguas? ¿Cuál es el mejor momento para aprenderlas? ¿Existen recetas mágicas? ¿Qué factores influyen en el proceso de enseñanza?

Last Monday was a holiday in Spain, so we had a long break this weekend. And what did I do: I went to Andalusia! In don Quijote I had seen an announcement for this trip, organized by a student association in Madrid. Four days in the (warmer than warm) south of Spain: Granada, Seville, Cordoba, I was ready to go!

Afgelopen maandag was een vrije dag in Spanje, dus we hadden een lang weekend vrij van school. En wat heb ik gedaan: ik ben een weekend naar Andalucië geweest. Bij don Quijote had ik een aankondiging gezien van een soort studentenvereniging die deze reis organiseerde en ik was nog net op tijd met inschrijven. Vier dagen naar het (nog warmere) zuiden: Granada, Sevilla en Cordoba, dat zag ik wel zitten!!   more »
